About Us

Excelium was formed in late 2007 by its current directors Paul James and Robert Randell, both of which have spent years working for several leading agencies on a wide variety of IT based projects.

Between them Rob and Paul have decades of experience working on leading edge projects for companies such as Subaru World Rally Team, Epson, Williams F1 and Pizza Hut. During these engagements they were able to employ and sharpen their skills as consultants, developers and project managers.

Since then we've strengthened our team to include several other experts in related fields: such as design, flash animation, photography, hosting etc. All this means that we have the depth and breadth of skills to take on and deliver any IT based project no matter what the requirements.

Our Philosophy

The company was born out of a desire to use our skills and experience in a fresh and innovative way. We craved the freedom to shape the way we work with clients and offer a much more personal and service-oriented approach than the industry norm.

Another key strength of ours is flexibility: we are proud that we can offer the same high standards and quality of service to clients of all sizes. This means that even the smallest companies can tap in to the sort of skills and experience that are usually only the preserve of large blue-chip organisations.

The future

As we continue to grow we are committed to keeping to our ideals of friendly, client-centric service combined with high quality products and award winning delivery.

We are also excited about several applications that we are developing for retail. They are still in development at the moment so we can't disclose too much information about them. However we are hoping that they will bring true innovation to their niches in the same way that we do with all of our client projects!
